MyCitations: Ability to Pay Tool Unavailable Overnight on Wednesday, July 31

Jul 24, 2024
Court Services Update

The MyCitations: Ability to Pay Tool will undergo scheduled maintenance from Wednesday, July 31 at 5:00 p.m. to Thursday, August 1 at 9:00 a.m. and will be temporarily unavailable.

This maintenance aims to enhance the MyCitations public site by introducing an updated landing page that includes options for Ability-to-Pay and Online Trial by Declaration.

Background on MyCitations:
MyCitations is an online tool developed by the Judicial Council of California. The tool allows people in eligible infraction cases to look up their citation online, answer a series of simple questions, and submit a request to the court for a possible reduction in the amount owed based on their financial situation. Requests for payment plans, more time to pay, or community service in lieu of a fine can also be submitted via MyCitations.

This user-friendly online option allows the public to make requests without the need to appear in court.

For information about additional payment relief options, see the Payment Options and Financial Hardship Information page on the court’s website or refer to sdcourt.ca.gov/Traffic.
