The Probate Business Office is located in the Central Courthouse and is open Monday through Friday to assist customers with filings, purchase of forms/packets, viewing of records and depositing of wills. Most records can also be purchased online via the Register of Actions. To request copies of a record, a Request for Copies (Probate) may be submitted by mail, in-person, or via an approved e-Filing Service Provider.
Probate Examiners are available to assist applicants with their cases currently pending before the court. They are available by phone between 10-10:30 a.m. or can be emailed according to the email parameters.
Court Investigators interview all persons who are the subject of a petition for conservatorship before the appointment is made, to determine if they understand the proceedings or have any objections. Periodic investigations are also conducted after the appointment to determine if the conservatee’s needs are being met. Court investigators also investigate guardianships of the estate only. Guardianships of the person are investigated by Family Court Services or by Health and Human Services Agency, Guardianship Unit. Please refer to the Guardianships page for more information.
